Chase Scene
April 26th, 2010. Posted in BlogWith graduation creeping up, so are the finals and projects that need to be finished. This video was a project Jeremy and I did for our music technology class. It isn’t the greatest of videos, and there are a few corny audio clips, but its all in good fun. And that was the point…we are about to graduate and just wanted to have fun with our final project. Check it out…

Whittenburg Highlight Reel
April 23rd, 2010. Posted in VideoUpdate! Jordan Whittenburg is currently playing semi-profressional basketball for Tualatin Rainmakers
A fellow teammate by the name of Jordan Whittenburg came to me asking if I could help him put together a highlight tape for him to send to coaches and organizations at the next level. He expected a quick throw together of some clips that he had chosen, but I gave him the real deal: Crisp clean titles outlining his achievements, sidebars to incorporate 4×3 and 16×9 footage (think of side bars on ESPN when watching regular content on HD channel), and announcer audio when available.
Cooking with Irini
April 22nd, 2010. Posted in NewsJust a quick update of what I have been working on the past few weeks. I am currently finishing up a website – www.cookingwithirini.com – for a previous client starting a new business from her home. The business offers cooking dinner parties in your home while teaching the group had to cook traditional Greek food. It is all about being with friends and having fun. Head over to the site to the official site and check it out! While the site is live, we are still working on adding a few more features, such as being able to buy her cookbook titled “My Beautiful Greece.”

Quick Productions Business Cards
April 20th, 2010. Posted in Graphic DesignAs a new graphic designer, I realized I needed to start building a portfolio so others can see my work. It just so happens that I had not yet had business cards made and it was something I had wanted to do for a long time. So for my first project, I decided to design myself some business cards. I really had no idea how I wanted them to look, and since I had no real previous experience, I just started playing around in photoshop to see what I could come up with. I remembered an old tutorial I had seen that created some really cool light effects so I decided to start there and see what I could come up with. The image below is the final draft that I had printed. I also scored some great deals at vistaprint.com. I was able to get 1000 business cards for $10.00!
